In the aftermath of the Orlando tragedy, our first response here at CCJV is that our hearts break as we consider the carnage. Next we are painfully reminded that the majority of the human race is existing in a misguided and even hopeless condition. Furthermore, we are forced to realize that often a life without hope ends in tragedy. Tragedy involving the individual and often, as demonstrated, becomes tragedy inflicted upon others. The multiple tragedy filled daily news reports fill our hearts with compassion. Empty misguided lives will always motivate us to continue to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our dying world. Sadly there are many trying to stop us from bringing the only message of hope, but obviously the alternative only creates a longing that cries out for fulfillment.
Our hearts break for the loved ones that were killed in the destructive action that was based in the most hateful act that could be imagined. Temporarily we were speechless. Now, as a little time has passed, we will more than ever bring the Gospel to those we encounter.
Finally, please be content and understand we will not ask for permission nor will we apologize for telling the greatest love story ever demonstrated. In the following promise the only hope for the human race is contained, “For God so loved the world, the He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Orlando, we join you mourning this unimaginable human and American tragedy. Our only desire will always be to come along side and assist you to the best of our ability.
Sincerely,
Pastor Greg and Calvary Chapel Jurupa Valley
