Just an observation. As usual, focused first responders and bold neighbors, are doing a quality job in Southeast Texas. The amazing display of concern shown by helping hands is and will continue to be enormous. People helping people. Sad to think that a huge disaster like the hurricane in Texas is what is needed to pull everyday Americans together, but so be it. Again, just an observation. Soon the rains will cease, and then the monstorus job of the clean up and reestablishing lives will begin. Truly that is when the real work will begin. Hoepfully we can stay focused on the job ahead. Currently our job is to be steadfast in prayer. Then, and very soon, we need to determine how the Lord might direct our physical efforts. Yes physical efforts accompanied by the Spiritual reality that will closely follow. Jesus simply said, “Love God and love your neighbor.” Simple words to live by. Lord help us to stay focused on the job ahead for Your glory, for our benefit. Amen! Pastor Greg
